Ondas Subsidiary Sentrycs Partners With Lockheed Martin on Counter-Drone Defense
Ondas Holdings' subsidiary Sentrycs has forged a strategic collaboration with Lockheed Martin to integrate its Cyber-over-RF counter-drone technology into the Sanctum C-UAS platform. The partnership aims to enhance defense capabilities against unauthorized drones without disrupting nearby communications.
Sanctum leverages AI, cloud-based data fusion, and modular architecture to neutralize aerial threats, including drone swarms. Despite the announcement, Ondas' stock dipped 3.70% in premarket trading, while Lockheed Martin saw a marginal uptick.
Ondas reported robust Q2 order activity exceeding $150 million and recently agreed to acquire Cyberhawk for approximately $125 million, signaling aggressive expansion in the defense technology sector.
